Customer Service Adviser

Customer Service Adviser at the Property Hub

Never be bored at work again. This is a fast-paced job in a business with big growth plans for an exceptional candidate who can grow with the company.

Can you spin several plates at once and ensure clients are always number one? Do you want to join a friendly team of high achieving professionals who have their eyes on a BIG future? Do you love engaging with clients and already have experience in the property field?

If the answer to all the above is on. We’re looking for you!

We provide free property education to thousands of property investors every year. Our podcast has over 150,000 monthly listeners and has cemented itself as the UK’s most popular business podcast. There are also over 30,000 active members within our online community.

We’re also publishers of a quarterly magazine, have written a number of best-selling books, and hold more than 35 free events across the country every single month.

As a result, we’ve created an audience of raving fans – who in turn have encouraged and enabled us to build a group of thriving businesses (spanning construction, sourcing, management, tax advice and finance) to serve them.

You will be joining a high achieving team of enthusiastic, ambitious, supportive property professionals who have already built an impressive portfolio of high value clients and have big plans on the horizon! We pride ourselves on our outstanding processes, vibrant company culture, strong values and collaborative approach.

Did we mention you’ll be based at our pretty epic office just a 3 minute walk from Piccadilly station? You’re right in the thick of all the Manchester city centre action and you’ll get to experience it all with our awesome team.

In a typical day, you will be:

  • Answering phones and handling client/landlord/tenant questions

  • Identifying when colleagues are better placed to respond and distributing calls and emails in a timely manner to them

  • Following up on viewings leads and application enquiries

  • Liaising with prospective tenants and arranging tenant viewings in our Local Property Experts’ calendars

  • Assisting with general administration for various departments across the group

This role primarily involves taking incoming calls and emails from customers and dealing with them directly or distributing them quickly and effectively to the right colleagues across the business.

You will be communicating with potential and existing clients/landlords, tenants or contractors by phone and email. As our aim is to create long-term positive relationships with them our style is not hard sell and we always seek to offer solutions. Your conversations will be rooted in education, advice and assistance.

As this is an entry level role you will not be expected to have all the answers from day one, but you will be a quick learner, self-motivated and determined to seek solutions that engender trust and confidence in everyone you come into contact with.

You will have experience of either working in an estate agency or of handling customer complaints.

You will also have flawless written and spoken English, and communicate with clarity and warmth. Your written skills will be as strong as your verbal communication.

The ability to listen is a must with this role. You’ll need to also question and assimilate information so you can ensure matters are handled in the right way by the right people.

You’ll be highly organised self-starter, and have a can-do attitude. As well as being a proactive person with high personal standards that are reflected in everything you do, you’ll need to be comfortable with new technology and enjoy following processes to get the best results.

If this sounds like your dream job and you meet all the requirements we’re looking for (and more), we want to hear from you.
